Motherland Beckons is an organization whose primary objective is to create a platform for Africans in Diaspora to connect to their roots and contribute to the economic development of the continent while empowering themselves economically by taking advantage of the vast opportunities embedded in Africa.
Motherland beckons was founded by the continent building initiative in 2008 to leverage off the continent’s link to Africans in Diaspora and lovers of Africa by providing the much needed platform for Africans in Diaspora to access, experience, connect with their roots, explore the various opportunities that exist in Africa and contribute to the economic development of the Continent.

Our vision is to bridge the Africa-Diaspora gap and fuel a global community of Africans and friends of Africa connected by a common purpose; to connect to the continent and accelerate a sustainable economic development of Africa.
Motherland beckons believes that Africans have to take responsibility for their economic and political fortunes, hence Our mission is to connect Africans in Diaspora to their roots and provide a platform for Africans in diasporas and friends of Africa to be part of building a better future for Africa. OUR TEAM is composed of Africans in the continent and in the Diaspora across numerous fields of human endeavors representing a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
